If you have an express account and wish to send Google Calendar reminders, you will need to upgrade to a standard account. In the mobile app, tap to open the task or reminder. But you're right the calendar events don't get announced. This connection means you can sync your calendar regardless of the smartphone, tablet, or computer you use. So, if you’re an iPhone and iPad user — you can still sync your calendar to Google Home. Before we go any further — there is one downside with Google Home.
